But I always thought that I'd see you baby, one more time again
I had always hoped we would meet again later in life and pick up where we left off. We'd been through hell and back and then to hell again, no one could ever understand the relationship we had. I would not be the woman I am today if I hadn't had you so close to me for all those years.
I figured this was just another "break" we were taking like we'd done over those so many years. I never imagined we would end like this. We were like night and day, complete opposites that went together almost seamlessly. We had each others back but fought like bears.
I could go on for days with all the "remember the time we..." but not tonight. All I can say is I'll always love you and I pray that you finally found peace.
I'll see you later my friend.

"I look at you and smile because I'm fine now"
Through the past year or so we have been removing unnecessary and unwanted people from our life. Sadly it has made us hermits for the last few months.
No more!!
I was talking to a friend last night who we just all around love and miss. He asked what was new and I realized how long it's been since we've spoken. I have always been the type to withdraw until the storm has passed. I'm not sure if it's safe out yet but I'd rather play in the rain than waist my days wishing.
We have come so far in our life in the last year. I have no shame or guilt for anything we've done. Like any other person my priorities are all based around my spouse and child. If you don't like that too bad!
So to update everyone, my love is now a small business owner! As of Friday I will be a licensed lender for my bank! Our big Girl is learning more and more everyday, and is getting ready for potty training!!
I am proud of our life. I am wholeheartedly happy.
I know some people we have cut ties with still follow/creep on here, and really this is for them.
I look at you and smile, because I am fine now.

Reminiscing
Like most kids I made some really stupid decisions in high school, my shame and regret is the fact that I knew they were the wrong choices and I did it anyway. Most of the time I didn't even WANT to do the idiot things we did or even spent time with the people I was always with. the last few months of my senior year were pretty much terrible, within weeks of graduation I had only 1 friend left and it was one I hadn't wanted from the beginning. At the time being a lone was more petrifying than anything else so I clung to her and continued to make not the best choices.
Now seven years later I gladly tell people I have no friends and am perfectly happy with that fact. I have my husband, and my daughter with hopes of other babies in the future, and I have my pets. For now thats more than enough for me.
Sometimes, like tonight, I can't help but wonder "What if?".
I have "friends" on facebook that I used to be really close to and it seems that they are all still very close, what if I hadn't removed myself from that group? Would I have friends now? There's one "girl" I have known for 20 years, we were really great friends once until I started down my different path. It seems almost a shame to me that I can say I've "known" someone for 20 years but don't actually know a thing about them...
I am truly grateful for the experiences I had, and am vainly proud of the person/wife/mother I have become because of the life I lead. The "what if"s always creep up on me at random moments.
I don't miss the people I had in my life I do miss the feeling of camaraderie. Knowing I could call someone in the middle of the night to tell them every insignificant detail of my day and have them vindicate all my feelings and thoughts. But, having to deal with all of our things on my/our own has done amazing things for my confidence, nerves, and faith.
Now that I've rambled on for an hour (my time), I guess the point to all this is to be grateful for what you have and the life you've lived. It's made you who you are. If you don't like who you are then put on your big kid pants and change things.

Frustrating
For the 2nd time in as many weeks I have a new phone and new number. Honestly sometimes I feel seriously sorry for this world and what it has become.
Remember the days before cell phones? Before video games, and massive televisions?
I do, and I miss them.
I hate that I HAVE to have a cell phone. I mean don't get me wrong on my hour commute to work with a 2yr old I like that I can call for help if I need it, I'm talking about all the other stuff.
Seriously do we need to literally run our whole world with a "phone"? Not only do they have the internet but there's an app for just about EVERYTHING!!
I hate how much time I waist everyday online, most days I don't get out of bed before checking my facebook. I know that I should be able to control myself, but like any other addiction it creeps up on you and you don't realize whats happening until it's to late.
It is an addiction, people are addicted to technology, and especially social media. I wonde if I'm one of the very few who see what's happening. I know a lot of people see it but No one wants to actually do anything about it... Gahh
I'm going to stop now before I get myself in trouble...

Little blessings
Sitting on the couch snuggling my beautiful, but sickly little girl. Looking back the past 24 hours have really been a mess. I could not be more proud of my little family at this moment.
This time last night we we all enjoying a delicious daddy made dinner, everything was fine. Fast forward a few hours, I am hastily awakened my frantic husband. "The baby's throwing up!!!!" I'll spare you the gross details but we were up all night with our puking crying toddler.
At this point I'd like to try and stress my husbands throw up disability. He can't handle anything puke related, he can't even talk about it with out gagging!! So to have something actually throw up on him nearly killed him!
So five hours, 3 showers, 7 outfit changes, and 6 sheet changes she finally got everything up and the 3 of us past out together in the big bed.
I'm sure you parents know, a sick kid plus no sleep usually means snappy attitudes and harsh words. I am proud of us because we made it through all that without losing our tempers or exchanging nasty words. Even now at almost 8pm my husband volunteers to go to Wawa to get soup and sandwiches for dinner. We are two days exhausted a cranky feverish toddler that won't eat, and still we're holding hands trying to calm our baby.
We are so blessed to have each other, and I can honestly say I'd be utterly lost without him sometimes.
Some days really do just suck, but if you stop to see all the little blessings each day brings you will be much happier.

Cutting Ties
I know that seems like a stupidly obvious statement, but I know there are so many people in the world that stay in all kinds of unhealthy relationships because they are more afraid of the unknown.
I don't specifically mean spousal relationships, I mean any and all connections. In the past few months I have gotten rid of friends and even family members. Just today I finally went through my phone and deleted numbers(I had them saved so I'd know not to answer) that I haven't called, or been called by in many moons. IT WAS SO FREEING!!!!
Removing people from your life is always challenging. You worry that it'll be messy, that they won't let go. That you might want or need them later in life, or for some ridiculous reason you feel like you owe them something. Guess what! YOU DON'T!!!!
I was very blessed that my situation went smoothly. I was not expecting that at all. I was expecting threats and phone calls and "public humiliation". While we did receive a bit of those from some, for the most part they were quiet separations. I know others won't be so lucky but trust me it is worth it in the long run!
Honestly the last like 6 months of our life have really been the best we've had, and things are just going to get better form here (GOD willing). It is such an awesome feeling to wake up every day enjoying your life! Reconnecting with yourself and things you like. Not adding other idiot peoples stress to your own! Cause you know we all do it, spend an afternoon with that one awful friend who is just awful in all kinds of ways, you get home and spend the rest of your day/night thinking/worrying/agonizing about what they should do or how you could help. All the does is drain you in every way possible and they NEVER listen so why should you bother!
I feel that every few years people should sit down with a list of the voluntary people(family/friends, there's really not much you can do about co-workers :/) in their lives, and going through each and every one of them asking "What does this person bring to the table?". If it takes more then 5 seconds to think of a legitimately good quality it's time for them to go. Also if your only answer is but we've been _________ for years, that doesn't matter they need to go! Life is to short to keep people who don't bring joy or love or other nice feelings to you.
I could go on and on about how much better our life is but it would sound pompous and would lessen the point of my message. Really the time is NOW to clean out your life and your head.

Lies in Relationships
Yesterday at a friends house we were watching "Mr. & Mrs. Smith". There's a part in the beginning when Mrs. Smith is sitting across from the marriage counselor, and is obviously fidgeting, and wringing her hands as she says "I'm mean everyone has secrets right?".
THAT IS THE BIGGEST LIE IN RELATIONSHIPS!!!
There is NO ROOM for secrets in any relationship. I'm really not sure when that became unconsciously accepted but it's really not the way things should be.
I know some of you are thinking "This chick is crazy and deluding herself". While I won't completely deny the crazy part ;) in this I know I'm right.
Now I'm not claiming we need to know every detail of our loved ones lives cause I mean who really cares what our spouses favorite color was when they were 6. I am saying there is no reason you should ever intentionally withhold or omit things when sharing with your spouse. When they ask how your day went, if you find yourself editing or giving a per-rehearsed speech then something is wrong.
Think of it this way. Every lie, every edited story, or untold tidbit is like a brick between you and your spouse. It may not seem like much at first, just something you trip on to get to each other, but sooner than you think it gets higher. Before you know it you're having to climb, and then one day you get home and realize your lover can't even see you anymore. They don't know who you are.
I have seen real love. I have seen love do amazing things. It's not easy. Love can't thrive without effort. Honesty is the root of love. Without honesty, there is no trust, without trust THERE IS NO LOVE. If you can't trust the person you're with then you're with the wrong person.
Be truthful, because at the end of every day REAL love conquers all.

Cardinal Rules
If you couldn't tell there was a lot of long time pent up frustrations behind it. I am very upset with myself for allowing things to got that far and I spent the rest of that night and all the next day praying about it, for myself, and for the person to whom it was intended.
When I began blogging I came up with a few simple rules for myself, just to keep everyone safe.
1) I never use any names. So unless you know me you won't know my husband or daughter or anyone else I choose to write about.
2) NEVER BLOG ANGRY. It will only cause trouble and you'll probably say things you don't really mean.
3) Write like no one is reading, be honest and heart felt, but keep the language clean.
So as you can see I broke two of my rules the other night. I am extremely upset with myself for letting that person take me to such extremes, because really in the long scheme of things none of it matters. I would ask that anyone who prays to ask for help for that person next time you do, because it's needed.
Few things get me so upset that 2 hours of pray can't calm me down, but messing with my family is one of them. I guess at the end of the day I'm just a Wife and Mother from New Jersey, and you know what they say about us Jersey girls ;)!!!

Please don't read this, and if you do try not to judge me...
Some people are a part of our lives whether we like them or not. Yes I understand that. Those same people can get easily removed from our lives whether they want to believe it or not!
You want to call me out on Facebook, fine.
You want to bad mouth me to everyone you know, Fine
You want to act like a crazy jealous Ex instead of the family member you are, not so fine.
You want to act like you can some how persuade MY HUSBAND to go against me, not fine.
You want to disregard my wishes and rules regarding MY CHILD, ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT.
I am not quite sure what you think the outcome of all this will be, but your interaction with ME AND MINE is over!
I don't know why you CONTINUALLY try to bad mouth me to my husband... Guess what, IT'S CREEPY, and IT JUST MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT!
I know what one says about others really reflect more about the speaker then the subject, but I honestly can not keep quiet anymore. It's been over 3 years GET OVER IT!!!
We are happily married and REMINDER: YOU'RE A SIBLING NOT A CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND.
END IT NOW BEFORE YOU RUIN THINGS FOR EVERYONE. You have my number try talking to me next time for a change.
For my regular followers please forgive me! I know this is petty and childish and I sincerely apologize, this will never happen again.

food for thought
Have you ever noticed that for all the people spouting advice left and right, no one actually listens to anyone else? People ask or don't ask and get plenty words of wisdom yet they still do whatever they had planned before hand.
What I am only just beginning to realize is that most advise people give is something they would never do. It's their reaction in a perfect world, if they had nerves of steel and weren't afraid of the consequences. Also, while many life problems are similar from person to person, no two are exactly the same. So even if someone comes to you going through a situation that you've also experienced you have to keep in mind there are a million little things that are different. You can say what you did and what you wish you had done, but you can't give anyone else and exact path to follow because things you may not know or understand are different.
My sister and I are constantly having a similar dispute with our spouses. We call each other, and sympathies, we share stories, what might work what didn't, but at the end of the day she and I are two VERY different people and our men who have as much in common as rugby and football. So we can compare and commiserate as much as we like but what works for the duck does not work for the goose. (I am of course the duck because she's a silly goose.)
I find that when people so boldly suggest how you should live your life, they never consider the way you actually live your life!!
So next time some one comes to you for guiding words take a moment and THINK about that person, how well you know them, and what they should logically do in said situation. They might actually hear what you have to say....

So Excited!!!
This next year will be a HUGE one for us! I don't really want to spill all the beans yet but basically anything that could change in a family is going to change. I honestly can't even begin to describe how excited am I to just live the next five years of my life.
It's going to be hard and crazy and very fast and probably really stupid in anyone elses eyes, but to me, we are about to start the greatest part of this whole marriage/grown up game. Hubby and I were up WAY past our bed time last night discussing everything and made up our minds. This morning I had a little break down and changed one thing but we both like it better the new way though.
Honestly the weight that has been taken from our chests is tangible. Our moods and mental outlooks have skyrocketed, today has been such a great day just being together as a family preparing for our future. Everyone is napping at the moment and I am just basking in the deep breaths I haven't been able to enjoy in a long long time.
I have so much to do; craigslist-ing, budgeting, planning, and lists of near future big purchases.... GAHHH I can't wait to get started!!! Spring time CANNOT get here soon enough!!!!

Exception
Hubby and I met at a bar(I know right?), we then got so drunk we didn't remember each others names the next day(I can't even believe I did that). The next day he got a mutual friend to ask my Mom for my number, and we started texting. About 3 days later I put him on the spot and asked him when he was going to man up and ask me out on a date. So he did, our first date was on November 3rd 2010(our anniversary for those of you who pay attention). From that point on we were inseparable. We saw each other every day and found all the time we could to be together. I became his Girlfriend December 17th and by Christmas I knew.
He asked me to marry him for the first time in the end of January. I said yes but I thought he was joking, I looked up at him and saw the seriousness in his eyes behind his smile. We moved away together in February, by the end of May we were really engaged and pregnant. We were married on November 5th 2011, we were 22. We had a whirlwind courtship and the past two years being married to him have been the absolute best in my life. We are soul mates and best friends. I cannot begin to explain the depth of my love for him.
We are the exception.
We know how luck we are to have the kind of love that we do. We make it work on hard days, and on easy days it's pure bliss. We are blessed and proud of what we've made together, but we are also very strong strong advocates of "DON'T DO IT". Whenever people ask our advice or opinion those are the first words out of our mouths. We ALWAYS did things our own way to make "us" work. It was really hard at times but we are better for it now. If we could go back and space things out a bit more and still end up with our amazing little girl, we would. To others we always suggest more time, cause once it's gone you can never get it back.
About the time of our wedding I found out that the night we met Hubby told the friends he was out with as they carried him home, that he was "going on marry that girl someday." Who would have ever guessed he was right.

Grace
Secondly, I have changed a lot in the past few years and am trying to better myself every day.
Thirdly, I read a blog my sister shared about how the most important thing missing in most marriages these days is Grace. Which is what really got me thinking about all this.
My hubby has really stepped up these past few weeks. I went back to work and was suddenly pulling 12-13 hour days and EVERY night I got home to a hot dinner and some clean dishes. How amazing is he right?!?!?! I was praising him to the women at work Friday, saying how great he has been, and all the shoulder massages I've been getting. He's just great! A few dialogs later I mention I had a sink full of dishes waiting for me for this weekend. The one woman looks at me and says "I thought your Husband was doing the dishes?"
I replied, "Well yes but he doesn't really like doing them so he only really washes what he needs for that night."
Both woman immediately go off on tangents about how that would p**s them off and that s**t wouldn't fly in my house ect ect ect.
I just shake my head and say " at least he's trying I'm not gonna complain." Which to them was not satisfactory and they continued on their ways. Again I kept my mouths shut and just wondered at what kind of home life these women had.
Like I said earlier I haven't always been so nice even a year ago I probably would have agreed with them "If you're not going to do something right and all the way then don't bother.". My hubby can attest to that! I am not sure if I hit a new maturity level, I just got tired of fighting, or if I was touched by the grace of GOD but one day I realized how cruel and selfish and petty that mentality was. Someone is trying to help you and you're going to tell them they're doing it wrong!! B***H!!!
I am very humble about my faith, I read my bible, I pray constantly, and my relationship with GOD is my business no one elses. These women go to church, have their pastors/priests over for dinner, go on trips, the whole nine. While that is all fine and dandy I feel like if you don't exude the ways and teachings in all parts of your life, all the dues and communions aren't going to get you anywhere. Even I as a "rookie" believer can name handfuls of passages that praise humility and compassion.
I don't go around shouting about I found Jesus and this will probably be the most "religious" post I ever write, but honestly how can someone spend hours a week and 20% of their yearly earning and not walk away with more than I have reading alone in bed at night... I still believe if you're going to do something you should do it properly. There is nothing proper about tearing down your husband, in front of a stranger no less.
http://refineus.org/one-missing-ingredient/ This was the blog my sister shared, if I could, without getting in trouble, I'd print it out and take to work with me! As I can't I'll just share it with you all. I have since started following this couple and I like what I've seen so far.
